I am a Data Science Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington working in William Stafford Noble's lab. I received my PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Mathematics Department at Reed College, a small liberal-arts college in Portland, Oregon. At this point in time, my main academic interests lie in machine learning for computational biology, with a focus onn development and applications of methods for multimodal biological data integration. I am also interested in machine learning for protein science and engineering and occasionally explore how machine learning can be applied to non-biological complex systems.
